On Thursday (12/01/12), I went down to my grandparents’ place at West Coast after my lecture in school. I bought them some hot desserts. My grannies were very surprised to see me. Ah gong was fixing some wires/ gadgets at the sofa. Ah ma came out after that. I told her to eat the desserts. Ah gong called me to eat. I said I bought it for them and reminded them to eat. Then her eyes became teary. I was very sad inside. I know she was touched. But this scene was just sad. She asked if I wanted a drink. I took a packet of ice lemon tea from the fridge in the living room. Then I told her hurriedly that I had to leave. I was regretful to leave so early, told her that I’ll come over for another visit when I’m free. I waved goodbye to her at the gate, ah gong was still busy with the gadget. “Ah gong, I’m leaving already!” I shouted. Ah ma watched me enter the lift and I waved goodbye. When the lift reached the lobby, I was crying. And I walked towards the bus stop, thinking that I will really them a lot when they leave me one day.
